About The Role

We currently have an opportunity for a motivated Sales Representative (Specification, VIC) to join our team based in Oakleigh, Melbourne.    

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager – Specification, your role will focus on developing business opportunities and building key relationships with a variety of stakeholders, such as architects, designers, developers, commercial builders and associated subcontractors, within the Victoria region. You will secure plans from architects and commercial builders to ensure our products are specified and supplied, monitor consumer and competitor activity and report market intelligence on business opportunities and new markets, as a key part of this role. You will also have involvement in providing training to customers on product information and suitability.


About you

With both proven experience in tracking projects from design to completion, along with a working knowledge of BCA, local standards and the commercial construction industry, you will be at ease in demonstrating the effectiveness of our product solutions to clients. You will have the ability to read and interpret commercial building plans and have knowledge and experience with architectural software packages. Your solution sales style and ability to sell the features and benefits of premium products, will ensure your success in this role. You will also have a good general mix of business acumen and computer skills. Previous experience working within the specification writing and sales, within the commercial construction industry, would be preferred but not essential.
