About The Role 

We currently have an opportunity for a motivated Business Development Manager –Trade (VIC/TAS) to join our team in Melbourne. 

Reporting to the National Business Manager, your role will focus on building strong partnerships with our clients to help identify new business opportunities and grow market share through the sales of our products, within the residential builder market in the VIC region. Account management of major trade based account customers in the retail/DIY sector and developing working relationships with builders and builders supply divisions of major trade re-seller organisations, will be a key focus of your role. You will also have involvement in training our customers in line with our ‘Trade Training Programme’ for door furniture (and related products) and will organise and attend trade and builder functions for customers.

About You 

With over five years of successful sales, business development and key account manager experience, you will enter the role with a proven track record of achieving sales and growth goals. You will be experienced in field sales and be at ease with motivating, persuading and influencing decision makers, in order to build new business and maintain existing customers. You will have proven ability in achieving successful product respresentation, brand quality positioning and category leadership. Sales experience with a major product supplier for the VIC residential builder market would be preferable.
