About The Role
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Development Engineer to join our team based in Melbourne.
Reporting to the National Sales Manager - EAC (Electronic Access Control), your role will focus on providing customers and end users with troubleshooting support on both product and technical issues. In addition, you will be involved in achieving the sales budget for our electromechanical and electronic product range within the VIC residential access control market. Account management of major distributors and regular representation of our products to a variety of stakeholders, will also be a key element to this role. Finally, working closely with the Product Management team, you will play a unique role of informing this team of customer needs in order to drive new product developments and individual market/customer based solutions, enabling future sales growth within this channel.
With an advanced understanding of EAC and technical product specifications, and with the ability to quickly grasp an understanding of customers' needs, you will be at ease with both troubleshooting problems and demonstrating the effectiveness of our product solutions to clients. As a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual, you will enjoy operating with a fast pace and leveraging your strong problem solving and time management skills to overcome challenges. Comfort around working both autonomously and within a team environment, and an ability to build relationships across a mulit-layered organisation, will ensure your suitability for the role. Most important of all – you will demonstrate a sense of humour as you tackle the day to day challenges.
